why not add a backpack into the game, I've had a problem with storage in game so i use a backpack mod and it does help, but at the start when i try to get leather it can be easy or very, VERY hard

WHenever you showed the list of texture packs they made, I went through the order they came out in my head to make sure I still remembered it. And I do. Except for the Halo mashup pack as that one never existed on PS3 or PS4

Hardcore is indeed better in bedrock. Last time, I jumped into water from a 3 block hight and died. Bedrock Hardcore finally removed the op water physics...........

Outro joke asking the big, important questions, 9/10! 20:15- For entirely too many people, reality states that they will likely struggle to survive; being homeless, hungry, sick, abandoned, at some points; right up until they die. This makes us naturally not want to live, but our genes have developed in ways that make stopping living very hard, especially at young ages. People in these situations are the ones who play the lottery a lot; and also drink, smoke, go home with people they meet at the bar drinking and smoking, etc., a lot. Interesting personal story; all I ever wanted, from the time I was a toddler, was to get married and have at least two babies. Nothing could discourage me. I pursued my goals with a single-minded laser-focus. After being forced to run for my and my baby’s lives once, I doubled down and found another man to complete my family goal with. It is hard to describe my ecstasy when my second child, my daughter, was born. I was high for over a YEAR. We were flat broke; ALL FOUR of us had to move back in with my mother for 6 months. I didn’t care. My dream had been achieved! Then, a little after my daughter turned 1 and we all moved back OUT from living with my mother, the thought came creeping in; what was my goal now? I wasn’t even halfway through my life, probably, and I had achieved my life goal. Since then, the need to RAISE the children I produced has kept me going pretty well, but there will never be another feeling like the one of bringing my daughter home and our family finally feeling complete. Never. I’m so glad I got to experience that! ❤

So long and thanks for all the rotten flesh. LOL BTW, I started a flat survival but not doing it hardcore (1.20) on your map. The small additions really make super/ultra flat a viable experience. But, yeah, I decided to skip the initial grind - thanks for the cauldron and bucket - so many hours saved. I also tried other "flat" survival maps but they are all way too easy - I think yours is the right balance with the option to go stupid hard if you really hate yourself and/or have too much time on your hands.

Here's what I see with the mace: it's so powerful that it can one hit KO the most common hostile mobs with a jump of just a few blocks. The fact it could one hit KO the warden was simply too much, so they balanced it. Not to mention that the lifespan of a mace is very low, probably like wooden or stone tools low. This is because it's so powerful. Also, at least we have the mace. It's still very useful, regardless of the nerfs.

Honestly there is no inventory problem anymore once you have a silk pick, ender chest, and a few shulker boxes. All they need to do is allow you to grab things in and out of an ender chest from within your inventory, without having to place it on the ground first, just to make this process more convenient.

If more slots makes the problem worse then the solution is obvious: fewer slots.

Sad to see they may not continue the Festive pack. I’ve been a Java player for years but have fond memories of playing with the trial pack on the Christmas world with my little sister. I loved the Santa’s workshop and the soundtrack was incredible. I wish modern renditions of the game would have kept some of that charm of having free worlds that show off the packs

The whole structure is called the "trial chambers", and a singular room is called a "chamber" ,or "trial chamber", all according to me.

One great thing about the console packs was that you could skin your game without buying it and preview it, but you couldn't save the game. This way you could take a look at it and decide if you wanted it. In general, I think 4J's work got better over time; the earlier packs tend to have 16x16 textures and there's not a lot of good depth or detail to them, while the later ones go 32x32 and have much better detail. The ones I dislike usually have a lot of unusual textures which makes it hard to know what you're looking at, Mass Effect, the holiday packs and the cutesy ones are the biggest offenders here. The GUI also matters too, some packs have GUI colors and/or designs that make it hard to tell what you're looking at. But it's good to see some of these packs getting upgrades since it maintains value for them. The mythology mashups were definitely some of the best, with Greek and Norse the best of the four. Norse in particular is really good, and lends itself well to a fantasy look. Skyrim has a similar aesthetic (fantasy Vikings, so it figures), but it's an older pack with low resolution and muted colors, and Norse Mythology just has better resolution, depth and color. Egyptian is pretty good too, though it doesn't look good for cold biomes, the color palette used for them is too warm. Chinese is the weakest of the four unfortunately which is a shame because it has a nice custom world, but the textures are older and don't have the detail of 4J's later work. Pirates of the Caribbean was better than I expected it to be, because licenced properties are often crappy in video games, but it's not bad at all. It seems like the sort of texture pack where you have to build with it specifically instead of slapping it on an existing world. City and Natural are the two best texture packs with Fantasy coming in a bit behind. Fantasy's biggest flaw is that there's a lot of gilding detail on some of the blocks and that gets a bit gaudy.

The four compasses showing up in your inventory shows up with normal textures too, it's just a bedrock thing.

I still often use the fantasy textures on my realm. I love the feel and it reminds me of my favorite battle minigame maps. This is a great video!

I'm looking at the mace, and I wish that the enchantment at least still worked by just jumping, for me it's just useless compared to sword or axe because these two are just more versatile, there's no reason to get mace unless you wanna just flex that you killed something in one hit because you did fall from 300 blocks, it's just a trophy nothing else
